Synopsis
이야기로 지새운 무한한 밤과 무한한 음악을 빛으로 밝히기, 확대하기, 자르기, 멈추기.
Illuminating, magnifying, cutting, freezing the endless night and infinite music woven through the story with light.
Note
I handprinted my old 35mm photo on the 16mm film strip. The photo of my friends and I marching on the street holding a hand picket written on ‘REVOLUTION’. The still image becomes a moving image on the 16mm film, making the people in the photo seem to walking forward. Whilst the 16mm film is looped, the performer randomly stops the film projector, making the march pause. In this performance, the photo of the marching people becomes alive and yet the people's march is interrupted.
